Change of date for Post 16 taster day:

Due to an issue with the gas pipe at Stamford College, the College is closed until next Monday. This means we cannot take our prospective College students this Friday for the Post 16 taster day.

The preparation for College day is an important part of our taster day offer and so we have decided to postpone the entire day until next Friday, 13 Janaury 2023.

This Friday will be a normal teaching day for Year 11 and all lessons will revert to normal timetable. All other details will be as previously advised on the original letters and permission slips will be carried forward to next week.

We have a number of lost winter coats looking for their owners in Student Reception! Students are urged to reclaim theirs before 13th January - after this date we will look to rehome them with a child in need.

A reminder to our current Year 7 Parents and Carers that we are offering a number of small tours this term.

We are aware that many of you were unable to visit the school in the run up to your children joining us and would like to invite you to visit us and see them in their classes.

Tours will initially take place at 9am-9:30am on the following dates with more dates to come should there be demand:

Thursday 19th January
Tuesday 24th January
Thursday 26th January

After the popularity of Kingsgate Community Church's generous donation of 40 Christmas hampers, we would like to go further. We are asking for voluntary contributions of non-perishable item(s) from anyone that can help. We will then create and distribute hampers of these goods to families in need within school.
