The school Choir were honoured to be invited to perform as the first part of the John Lewis upgrade was opened to the public. Another huge success receiving very positive feedback from those that watched them perform! They will be returning to John Lewis in December for their traditional Christmas Carols.

Year 9 have been completing their 'Zoo life' transition to GCSE projects this half term and to support their hard work and research, local company Exotic Animal Encounters spent the day sharing their expertise and exotic friends with the students. Year 9 got to learn about animal adaptations and survival and had exciting hands on experience with snakes and spiders to Toby the giant tortoise!
Last night staff and students went to see Grease The Musical at The Key Theatre. Having the chance to watch a hugely talented cast perform including some of our students, well done on such a good performance!
On Monday 45 Year 10 Art students went on a trip to Sandringham and Hunstanton. Even though the weather was not the best, it did not dampen the students spirits who took lots of photos and made drawings towards their project.

Yesterday 80 Year 9 students took part in the WW1 Battlefield Medicine workshop. Supporting the GCSE module ‘Medicine Through Time: The British Sector on the Western Front’. For more information and student feedback on this event please see this weeks newsletter.
Year 8 have been collecting data to see if a microclimate exists around the school. They were collecting temperature readings, wind speed and direction and measuring cloud cover as part of their assessment in Geography.
