Day 2 of the Year 9 Pop-Up Restaurant was another success. Again, students prepared and served a two-course meal to their visitors and provided a high standard of service throughout. Well done to those involved!
Our Year 8 students attentively listened to the humanutopia team this morning as they began their day-long workshop
We believe that having the highest possible standards and expectations is a key ingredient to success in any organisation. Uniform is one of the ways we hold our students to these expectations.
As signposted in last week’s newsletter we feel it important that parents and students understand the checking process we follow to avoid sanctions:
- We will be checking before school; during and between lessons
- Items outside of school rules will be confiscated
- Students with inappropriate uniform will be working with their pastoral teams until it has been corrected
- We will ring home to request support in achieving these corrections (it is essential that we have up to date contact details on our system)
A full list of our uniform requirements can be found on our website: https://www.kscs.org.uk/information/policies/uniform-policy
We wish to work with parents and ask that anyone struggling to provide the correct uniform and equipment for their child makes contact with us so that we can provide the appropriate support.
Today was the first day of the Year 9 Food Pop-Up Restaurants. Two groups served a two-course meal of their chosen cuisine, Chinese and Italian, to select guests within school. The quality of the food produced, the customer service and the team work behind the scenes was outstanding. Congratulations to those involved, a job extremely well done!
Come along to Year 9's Art Exhibition exploring the subject of 'Identity' between Saturday 25th January 10 - 2 and Sunday 1 - 3 at St John the Baptist Church, Peterborough Cathedral Square to see some of our students amazing work!
