On Friday we held our first Headteacher's commendation of the new academic year. Thomas, Sam and Charlotte all took part in a short story competition and were nominated by Miss Humphries for their fantastic work. With comments such as "mesmerising", "beautifully written" and "extremely moving", we were blown away by the talent of these three wonderful writers.
Well done to you all and we look forward to many more commendations over the coming year!
To prepare for our Prospective Parents Open Evening and allow students taking part to have an adequate break, we will be closing at 1:15pm on Wednesday 25 September 2024.
Students in receipt of free school meals will be able to get food from the canteen before going home.

Autumn Term 1 is in full swing and we're enjoying seeing everybody back and ready to learn! This week is KickStart week and it's been great to see the enthusiasm as students throw themselves into the sessions. Keep up the good work everyone, lets make this year our best one yet!
We're looking forward to welcoming you all back this week! Here's a few top tips to help the new school term get off to the best possible start:
- Make sure you're wearing the right uniform (are you following the new skirt rules?) View our full uniform policy here
- Check you have the right equipment. View our full equipment list here
- Make sure you arrive on time (front gates open at 8.30am and close at 8.43am)
- Have some breakfast! Remember you can take advantage of our free breakfast every day before school from 8am (accessed via the main reception)
On the first day of school staff will be greeting you on the front gate and directing you to where you need to go. Year 7 students should remember to bring their PE kit on the first day.
Have a good nights sleep and we look forward to seeing:
