The autumn term saw our Year 7 students submitting their French Extended Homework projects (EHP), which they worked on individually or in small groups. The projects showed a high standard of research and presentation skills. All projects submitted were rewarded with badges for efforts on Class Charts, postcards home for the winners and treats for the best performing form, which was 7A4.
To thank our Year 7s for their efforts, the winners from each class were invited to a celebration event. Students had the opportunity to look at other projects while sampling some French treats such as brioche, madeleines, biscuits, and chocolate.
We were truly amazed by the range of project styles and the enthusiasm shown by our students and would like to share just some of their work with you here.
The termly Extended Homework projects give students the opportunity to learn more about the culture of the country they are studying, practise research skills and allow students to present their work in a more creative and individual way. The MFL staff were really pleased with the effort and quality of last term's EHP submissions, and we look forward to seeing their future projects.
